Solo exhibition in Cacak /Samostalna izložba u Čačku

My second solo exhibition this year was opened on Friday, October 27, at Art showroom of Cultural center in Cacak (west Serbia). It will be there for next 10 days, so if you are in the neighborhood, have a look :-) There are around twenty comic panels and fifteen illustrations, mostly recent stuff. The opening was nice, colorful and cheerful, in a cozy little gallery - just like it should be. The hosts were great, thank you Vesna and Nikola :-)!

Cacak is a nice city, they're cleaning it up, at least the center. There are trees in the streets, and people are smiling...But don't buy pizza on the main square, it is greasy and hard to chew.

And did you know that there is a giant ficus in the Cultural center hallway? It was planted back in 1972, when the building was finished, and then it grew and slowly conquered the space. Today, it is a real one - tree ficus forest. Just like being in Amazon, with Cacak all around it :-)

Moja druga samostalna izložba, za ovu godinu, otvorena je u petak 27. oktobra, u Likovnom salonu Doma kulture u Čačku! Trajaće narednih deset dana, te ako ste u prilici, izvolite, posetite! Izložila sam dvadesetak tabli stripa i petnaestak ilustracija, uglavnom novijeg datuma. I fino je bilo! Šareno i veselo, u udobnoj, maloj galeriji - taman onako kako treba! I domaćini su bili sjajni! Hvala Vesna, hvala Nikola :-)!
Inače, lep je grad taj Čačak! Fasade su, barem u centru, nove i čiste. Drveća ima dovoljno, a ljudi su mahom lepi i nasmejani...Jedino pizza u fast food-u na trgu ništa ne valja - žilava je i masna!
Nego, da li ste znali da u holu čačanskog Doma kulture raste džinovski fikus?! Takoreći fikusčina! Zasađen je tu daleke 1972. godine, kada je i otvoren Dom kulture. A onda je rastao, granao se i polako osvajao svoj prostor. Danas je to prava fikus - šuma, ali samo od jednog drveta! Otprilike, kao da ste usred Amazona, a oko vas Čačak :-)
