Although it was raining all day yesterday, I've got some great sunny news from Italy!
The illustration titled "Sunny Day" I've submitted for the Imagine the Time calendar contest is selected as one of 12 finalists! It will be published in the new calendar edition, representing August!

But, only three are going to be winers and they will be chosen by voting. So if you have time, here's the page where you can choose among 12 illustrations. My Sunny Day is number 5 :-). Thank you!

Iako je juče celi dan padala kiša, iz Italije sam dobila jednu sunčanu vest! Ilustracija pod nazivom Sunčan dan, koju sam nedavno poslala na "Immaginare il tempo" konkurs, ušla je u selekciju od 12 najboljih i biće štampana u kalendaru za 2009. godinu! Predstavljaće avgust.

E sad, od 12 selektovanih glasanjem se biraju tri najbolje ilustracije. S tim u vezi, ako ste raspoloženi i imate vremena, izvolite svratite na stranu za glasanje. Moj rad je pod rednim brojem 5 :-) Hvala!

Here's something from my childen's book portfolio. It's a part of a personal project I've been experimenting with. I was playing with some new textures and colors, mixing hand painted with digital backgrounds... And It was super fun! I think it will bee nice to play like this more often :-)

Evo nečeg relativno novog iz portfolia sa ilustracijama za decu. Zapravo, ovo je bio eksperiment, poigravanje sa novonapravljenim teksturama i novom paletom boja, kombinovanje ručno slikanog sa digitalnim, itd.,itd...I ispalo je super zabavno! Mislim da ću se u budućnosti češće igrati na ovaj način :-)
